NEW YORK — As baseball fans await the Los Angeles Dodgers’ lineup to see whether Shohei Ohtani’s shoulder feels good enough to play in Game 3 of the World Series on Monday night, the New York Yankees have made changes to theirs.
The Yankees, who trail in the best-of-seven series 2-0, inserted catcher Jose Trevino into the starting lineup for the second time this postseason, giving New York alternating handedness from No. 4 to 9 in the lineup at Yankee Stadium. Shortstop Anthony Volpe will bat sixth.
